An exclusive benefit for NYSHFA and NYSCAL Association Members, this proposed Safety Group is designed to deliver low-cost, high-value workers’ compensation insurance while maximizing productivity and employee safety. Managed by Friedlander Group, New York’s largest Safety Group manager with over $804 million in client savings since 1992.
WHAT IS A SKILLED NURSING & ASSISTED LIVING SAFETY GROUP?
The proposed NYSHFA/NYSCAL Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living Safety Group #3074 would be a collection of safety-conscious skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in New York State that receive low-cost, fully insured workers' compensation insurance through the New York State Insurance Fund.
Eligibility is exclusively for NYSHFA and NYSCAL association members with a proven commitment to workplace safety.
Subject to loss history and future group performance, qualifying members may become eligible for an upfront group discount of up to 35%. The individual premiums of the group members would be pooled and, after paying claims and expenses, the profits of the group are returned to members in the form of a dividend. (Dividend not guaranteed and not until Safety Group is formed.)
